Build Your Own Granola

3 cups Sliver Palate Oatmeal

1 cup pumpkin or sunflower seeds

1 cup favorite nut, roughly chopped

1/4 cup sesame or poppy seeds

3 tablespoons brown or granulated sugar

2 tablespoons cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice

2 teaspoons Kosher salt

1/4 cup coconut, avocado, olive, or vegetable oil

1/3 cup maple syrup or honey

1 cup dried fruit, roughly chopped

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Combine all of the ingredients except for the dried fruit in a large bowl until well coated. Press evenly into a sheet pan and place into the oven. Cook for 20 minutes and give it a stir then press to cover the sheet pan evenly so that the edges do not burn. Bake for another 15 minutes or until golden brown and slightly crunchy. Set aside to cool and then stir in the dried fruit. Once completely cool, place the granola in a n air tight container. This makes about 3 quarts.
