Artful Artichoke

Serves 4

1/2 cup Silver Palate Artsy Artichoke Spread
1/2 cup grated Asiago or imported Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons mayonnaise, regular, low-fat or no-fat
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
4 cooked artichokes, leaves removed, or canned artichoke bottoms, rinsed and blotted dry


Preheat broiler with pan about 4 inches from the heat. Combine Artsy Artichoke Spread, grated cheese, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper, and mix together. Spoon into artichokes, patting to smooth. Put in a shallow baking dish and broil until top is browned and bubbling, and artichokes are heated through, about 4 to 5 minutes.
