That Sauce!

Makes 1/2 cup

1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
Pinch saffron threads, crumbled
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup Silver Palate Pomodoro Sun-Dried Tomato Spread
1 tablespoon small capers
Minced zest of 1 orange
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste


Heat oil over medium heat in a small skillet. Stir in garlic and cook until tender. Add saffron and white wine, and bring to a boil. Cook until liquid is reduced by half, then stir in Sun-Dried Tomato Spread, capers, orange zest, and salt and pepper, and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Serve warm or cool.
