Strawberries Romanov Grand Marnier
1-1/2 quarts strawberries, washed and hulled, split if very large
3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons Grand Marnier or other orange liqueur
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 pint vanilla ice cream or low-fat frozen yogurt
1 jar Silver Palate Grand Marnier Fudge Sauce
Combine strawberries with confectioners' sugar and Silver Palate Grand Marnier Fudge Sauce in a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Divide strawberries among 4 dessert plates. Whisk heavy cream to soft peaks, then beat in 2 tablespoons of strawberry-Grand Marnier juice. Top berries with scoops of vanilla ice cream. Drizzle on Silver Palate Grand Marnier Fudge Sauce and a generous spoonful of the whipped cream. Spoon any remaining strawberry-Grand Marnier juice over cream and serve at once.
